Times have changed. Today’s America versus the days our grandparents were raised are significantly different. The stories told to us of how kids could play with parents not having to worry about their kid’s safety and how they could play until the streetlights came on, these were the days before every ten-year-old had a cell phone. How about the days people could leave their homes without having to worry about locking it? Imagine if we could have that trust and confidence in society today. The truth is, today’s America will never be the same as it was in the ’50s. The reality is you must protect your children and your valuables, if you don’t, the sweat and sacrifice you poured into what you have today can be gone in minutes, or even seconds.
We have heard countless horrifying stories of children injured or taken from us because of their curiosity at the negligence of adults. “What if” can cost you everything, the valuables you have worked so hard to treat yourself with or your precious child. Aside from the curiosity of children, studies show on average there is a break in every 26 seconds in America. A whopping estimate of 2.5 million a year. Not to mention, criminals obtaining firearms by burglarizing homes or cars and firearms not being properly secure. Statics show in the US an estimated 380,000 guns are stolen each year from private owners. One in every five stolen is likely to be recovered again.
How can you protect your children and your valuables? Secure them. Safes are inexpensive compared to what you could lose in a break-in or the life you would have to live after the loss, of your child or the life of someone else.
